Fun and Games
Some of us had a hard time getting the bag on the board, much less getting it into the hole.
I think most of us need a little practice.
On Saturday night, the kids began playing "Civil War" during the fireworks. It was too cute, but as I am now a social studies teacher, I couldn't stand it. I had to tell them it should be called the "Revolutionary War" instead. No matter what they played, I believe they all had a wonderful time.
Family Fun Shot
Keaton loved the fireworks!! He sat perfectly still and watched. It was one of the most restful parts of my weekend. For a kid usually on the move, he was the perfect audience.
We were fortunate enough to celebrate the holiday on both Saturday and Sunday evening with good friends. Thanks to Richard and Shelia for having us over on Saturday and to Kevin and Jennifer for including us on Sunday.
We are blessed with good friends.
