Connor and I worked together to make his Valentine Box. We checked out the internet for some ideas before deciding on a robot. Posted below are the front and back views of Mr. Randy Robot and his Love Radar. Connor didn't want anyone at school to see it until the "Big Day" so we had to find a bag big enough to put it in. We had a great time creating Mr. Randy Robot. As for Keaton and his Valentine box, we bought a Valentine bucket with a lid and off to school he went. He could care less about the box but really enjoys the parties. Hope everyone had a wonderful Valentine Day.

Rock and Roll

Connor asked for a guitar for Christmas and wouldn't you know it, he got one. We ordered him an inexpensive guitar, case, and amp from ebay. If he continues, we can invest in a better one later. Anyway, we were finally able to start guitar lessons. Connor's lesson are on Monday nights at 6:00 with Aaron. We'll keep you updated on Connor's progress. He seemed to pickup the names and locations of "things" really well during the first practice. He has been practicing a major scale pattern and a couple of chords. Until next time....

January Snow Day Fun!

We were pleasantly surprised last week when Bowling Green City Schools were actually closed for two days. That has never happened before, or at least not in my seven years of working there. We spent the day hanging out at home catching up a on few chores. We spent some time out in the very wet snow. In this picture Connor has a snowball at the ready.
If you look closely and compare Keaton's picture to the one posted at the top of the page, you should be able to see that he has lost two teeth (both on top) since Christmas. He pulled them both at school. He seems to be growing so very fast lately. It is hard to believe how quickly they grow up. He will be seven in only a short couple of months. Neither of our boys are babies anymore. They are growing up into handsome, loving boys.
